I am a painter and artist from Norway who has been experimenting with different techniques and mediums for the last 20 years. My paintings are the result of a long and vivid imagination process, where I envision the colors, the motive, and the expression for weeks before I bring them to life. I choose the technique that best suits the essence of each painting, whether it is oil, acrylic, watercolor, linoprint, or charcoal. My art is mainly positive and colorful, reflecting my love and joy for painting and life.
Besides being an artist, I am also a nurse who finds a lot of inspiration in my work. I witness the fragility and the strength of human beings every day, and I try to capture their emotions, stories, and hopes in my paintings. I believe that art can heal, comfort, and empower people, and that is what I aim to do with my paintings.
